Glaiza De Castro, Angel Guardian praise SB19's Justin for 'Sang'gre' role

Glaiza De Castro and Angel Guardian were all praises for SB19's Justin De Dios for his role as Ec'naad in "Encantadia Chronicles: Sang'gre." 

In Aubrey Carampel's report in "24 Oras" Monday, Glaiza shared that Justin's aesthetic makes him look like he's someone who actually belongs in Devas. 

"Belong na belong siya sa asthetic at sa itsura, sa feels ng Encantadia. I think bumagay talaga sa kaniya perfectly 'yung role na Ec'naad," she said. 

The Kapuso actress also praised Justin for his commitment to the role and his talents as a dancer. 

"Nakita ko din na talagang he cares so much about the role kasi pagdating niya nun, he's prepared. Alam na niya 'yung lines niya, alam niya 'yung movements na gagawin niya. Ang saya din kasi na-apply niya din 'yung pagiging dancer niya," she added. 

Angel shared the same sentiments as she noted how Justin was able to use his background in dance to step into the role of Ec'naad. 

"Pride ng Pilipino ang SB19 and to be able na makatrabho si Justin, dahil din siguro dancer siya kaya ang bilis niya pumickup ng choreography ng fights and alam ko na excited na ang mga fan ng SB19," she said. 

Justin, for his part, expressed his gratitude for his co-stars' warm welcome towards him despite his short stint in the series. 

"Hindi ko po na-feel na left out ako or parang bago ako. Kahit short lang po 'yung time namin together to work, parang mahabang time na 'yung napagsamahan," he said. 

Previously, Justin shared with GMA Integrated News that he had to take acting lessons and fight training for his role. 

Justin is set to make his first appearance in "Encantadia Chronicles: Sang'gre" in Monday's episode. 

"Sang'gre" airs on GMA Network Mondays to Fridays at 8 p.m. after "24 Oras." You can also watch it online via the Kapuso Stream on YouTube.
