Amihan, Pirena reunite in Devas

Amihan (Kylie Padilla) and Pirena (Glaiza De Castro) had an emotional reunion on Tuesday's episode of "Encantadia Chronicles: Sang'gre."

Pirena and the four keepers of the elemental gems were finally allowed to enter Devas after agreeing to slash their palms with the daggers summoned by Ec'naad (Justin De Dios), which would temporarily cause them to die.

Upon entering the heavenly realm, they were welcomed by Amihan, who died in "Encantadia" in 2016.

Pirena teared up after seeing her younger sister and rushed to embrace her. She then introduced Amihan to their nieces, Terra (Bianca Umali) and Flamarra (Faith Da Silva), and their nephew, Adamus (Kelvin Miranda).

Finally, she introduced her to Deia (Angel Guardian), the chosen keeper of the air gem, which Amihan used to have.

Pirena later showed Amihan the lifeless air gem and told the former Queen of Lireo about the reason for their trip to Devas.

Amihan said only the return of the Kambal-Diwa can bring back the power of the gems. Adamus was confused, because the Kambal-Diwa have all perished.

According to Amihan, they could call on the ancient Kambal-Diwa to return to the elemental gems, a fact that she only learned after dying and staying in Devas.

Amihan then ushered them all to meet Bathalang Emre, who had been waiting for their arrival.
