Kira Balinger surprises Josh Ford in premiere episode of 'Chapters by Sparkle'

Josh Ford graced the pilot episode of "Chapters by Sparkle," where he got surprised by his fellow PBB alum Kira Balinger.

The episode showed Josh having dinner in a fancy restaurant when Kira suddenly came in.

"Oh my gosh! Grabe! Ikaw pala ang date ko tonight," Josh said.

As the two settled for their dinner, Kira said some good words to Josh, thanking him for his presence.

"I really have nothing bad to say about you, Josh. You know, I'm just really happy that I have Josh in my life. Honestly. He's a really great [guy]," Kira said.

"He's super soft. He's super outgoing. Napaka-spontaneous ng tao na 'to. As in kahit sobrang pagod siya and everything, ayain mo siya, kahit may work the next day, he's still down. But responsible," she added.

As for Josh, the Sparkle star called Kira as the "best surprise" for that night.

"Sobrang bait ni Kira. The fact na pinuntahan niya ako dito kahit na you know she's busy. But she's the best surprise," he said. "Sobrang happy ako na nandito si Kira."

Kira also expressed her support and well-wishes for Josh's career.

"I've told you this before. Anybody who has you in their life is very, very lucky. I really mean that when I say that to you," the Kapamilya star said.

"I just want the best for you. I want you to be happy. I want to see you flourish in your career. And, of course, as a person, I want you to grow. And, yeah, I just want you to be happy," she added.

Josh and Kira, also known as KiSh, were among the ships that were formed inside the "Pinoy Big Brother: Celebrity Collab Edition." PBB fans have tagged them as the "healthiest ship" inside Bahay ni Kuya.

The two share a close friendship inside and outside Bahay ni Kuya.

Kira and Josh were each other's first duo in the reality show, and they eventually became each other's final duo when Ralph De Leon and Charlie Fleming, their duos when got evicted, returned to the house as wildcards.

The pair will work together again in the upcoming GMA Network and ABS-CBN collaboration, "Secrets of Hotel 88," starring several housemates.

They will also appear in the upcoming GMA Pictures film, "Huwag Kang Titingin," starring Sofia Pablo and Allen Ansay.

Josh and Kira will also star in the upcoming music video of "Aya" by Earl Agustin.
