'Sang'gre' teases return of Michelle Dee as Hara Cassandra, introduces Andrea Torres as Ayeshka

The Devas arc of "Encantadia Chronicles: Sang'gre" ended with emotional reunions between the new generation of gem keepers and their departed family members.

On Episode 81, Pirena (Glaiza De Castro) and Flamarra (Faith Da Silva) reunited with Azulan (Marx Topacio), the former's husband and the latter's father.

After tearful embraces between the family, Mira (Kate Valdez), Pirena's elder daughter joined them.

Meanwhile, Adamus (Kelvin Miranda), Terra (Bianca Umali), and Deia (Angel Guardian) met Lira (Mikee Quintos), the eldest daughter of Amihan (Kylie Padilla).

Terra and Lira bonded over their shared history with the mortal world and teased Adamus over his "crush" for Deia.

Adamus asked his cousin about Hara Cassandra (Michelle Dee), but Emre himself answered him: she is away on a task that the Bathala himself assigned. This sets up Michelle's return to the series as it nears its climax.

Cassandra is the only Sang'gre that the Ice Queen Mitena (Rhian Ramos) killed, having only imprisoned Danaya (Sanya Lopez), Alena (Gabbi Garcia), Armea (Ysabel Ortega), and Cassiopeia (Solenn Heussaff). She was the ruling queen of Lireo and the keeper of the air gem when she died.

Back in Encantadia, a new character has been introduced: Andrea Torres as Ayeshka, the new dama (servant) in Lireo who hails from the Adjantao. Mitena met her while in disguise as Samina.

"Encantadia Chronicles: Sang'gre" airs weeknights on GMA Prime at 8 p.m. after "24 Oras." You can also watch it on YouTube via the Kapuso Stream. —MGP, GMA Integrated News
