Mavy Legaspi picks Marco Masa as the Sparkle housemate he wants to see in ‘PBB: Celebrity Collab Edition 2.0’

Now that “Pinoy Big Brother: Celebrity Collab Edition 2.0” is just around the corner, show host Mavy Legaspi has one Sparkle teen star he is keen on seeing in the upcoming season.

At the sidelines of the “Hating Kapatid” media conference on Tuesday, the PBB host named his fellow “Love At First Read” star, Marco Masa, as his Kapuso bet.

“Gusto kong makita yung growth niya sa loob ng bahay ni Kuya, if ever,” Mavy said in an interview with GMA News Online.

“So sana, pag-isipan niya na pumasok or mag-audition sa ‘PBB 2.0,’” he added.

Marco began his career in GMA Network as a child star in the drama anthology "Tadhana." He went on to star in several Kapuso series such as "Royal Blood," "Black Rider," and "Daig Kayo ng Lola Ko," among others.

Marco is set to star in the upcoming horror movie "Huwag Kang Titingin" with Sofia Pablo and Allen Ansay.

It seems that Marco is a favorite pick among Kapuso stars for PBB. In a July episode of “Fast Talk With Boy Abunda,” PBB Collab Second Big Placer Will Ashley also chose the “Maka” star as one of the celebrities he wants to see in the second season.

Previously, Marco said that he is more than willing to join PBB if there is a chance.

Marco currently stars in "Akusada" and "Maka Lovestream."

The first season of "Pinoy Big Brother: Celebrity Collab Edition" premiered in March and aired for four months before concluding on July 5. Mika Salamanca and Brent Manalo (BreKa) emerged as the first-ever Big Winner duo.

During the Big Night, Bianca Gonzalez announced that the collab is getting a second season.

The new housemates composed of a group of Gen Z celebrities will be revealed in October. — LA, GMA Integrated News
