Andrea Torres says she took dance lessons, fight training for 'Sang'gre' role Ayeshka

Andrea Torres was a scene stealer in Episode 82 of "Encantadia Chronicles: Sang'gre" which aired on Tuesday, where she portrayed Ice Queen Mitena in disguise as the fierce and seductive dama Ayeshka. 

In Aubrey Carampel's report on "24 Oras" Wednesday, the Sparkle star shared that she had to take dance lessons and fight training for her short yet captivating role, adding that she's happy to do action and seductive scenes anew. 

"Super happy ako kasi na-miss ko rin mag-fight scene, na-miss ko rin naman mag-pasexy somehow. Gumawa na rin ako ng soap na fantasy and action, so it's nice to do that again," she said. 

According to Andrea, she has received a lot of praise from fans for her portrayal of Ayeshka —  an achievement that has given her much joy. 

"Ang ingay ng [Instagram] ko. Nakita ko rin 'yung mga comments nila sa YouTube, super kilig ako syempre kasi 'yun naman ang gusto natin every time may ginagawa tayong role, ma-appreciate ng tao, ma-entertain sila, so at least na achieve naman natin," she said. 

Andrea currently stars in "Akusada" alongside Benjamin Alves. 

She is also set to star with Will Ashley in the first-ever vertical series produced by GMA Public Affairs. 

"Encantadia Chronicles: Sang'gre" airs weekdays on GMA Prime at 8 p.m. after "24 Oras." 

Meanwhile, "Akusada" airs weekdays on GMA After Prime at 4:05 p.m.
