Rochelle Pangilinan bags Best Supporting Actress in Cinemalaya 2025: ‘Parang panaginip’

Rochelle Pangilinan is still on cloud 9 after winning Best Supporting Actress at Cinemalaya 2025.

The Kapuso actress made her debut at the Philippine Independent Film Festival through “Child No. 82.”

On Instagram, Rochelle proudly shared a photo of herself holding her trophy, along with a heartfelt message.

“Still feels surreal… hanggang ngayon, hindi ko pa rin lubos maisip na nangyari talaga ‘to,” she wrote.

“Sobrang laki ng puso ko ngayon,” she added. “I poured my soul into this role, and to be recognized in this way… parang panaginip.”

Rochelle went on to thank her fans for their unwavering support, and gave a special shoutout to her husband, Arthur Solinap, and their daughter, Shiloh.

“This isn’t just my win. It’s ours,” she said.

“Today, I can finally say it with all my heart — I AM AN ACTRESS!” she added.

In late 2024, Rochelle earned wide praise for her portrayal of Amalia Dimalanta-Torres (Tiya Amalia) in the Kapuso historical drama “Pulang Araw.”

Aside from acting, Rochelle continues to celebrate her roots as one of the original SexBomb Girls. In September, Rochelle teased a SexBomb reunion concert slated for December.
