Glaiza De Castro takes a bow after Pirena's death in 'Sang'gre'

Glaiza De Castro took to social media to express her heartfelt goodbye after the death of her "Encantadia Chronicles: Sang'gre" character, Pirena.

On Instagram, the Kapuso actress shared behind-the-scenes photos of herself in full costume.

"Para sa Encantadia. Para sa mga mahal natin sa buhay. Avisala eshma at hanggang sa muli," Glaiza wrote in the caption.

The post, which also included photos of her on-screen character surrounded by flowers, quickly drew reactions from fans and fellow cast members.

Faith Da Silva, who plays Pirena's daughter, Flamarra, commented, "Hindi maaari."

On Tuesday's episode, Pirena died after sacrificing herself to save Terra (Bianca Umali) during a battle in Hathoria.

"Encantadia Chronicles: Sang'gre" airs weeknights on GMA Prime at 8 p.m. after "24 Oras." You can also watch it on YouTube via the Kapuso Stream.
