Chuckie Dreyfus expresses support for Jillian Ward amid sugar daddy allegations
Chuckie Dreyfus expressed his support for Jillian Ward amid long-standing rumors surrounding the Kapuso actress, such as claims that she has a "benefactor" or that she is a "sugar baby."
On Facebook, the former Kapuso child star shared that he has known Jillian since she was six years old and has since witnessed her grow “not just as an artist but as a woman with so much heart.”
Chuckie said he and Jillian developed a strong friendship over the years, often talking about her “wins, struggles, frustrations, love, dreams, even the moments you doubted yourself.”
“You’ve poured your heart out to me more times than I can count,” he wrote.
“And every time we talk, I see that same genuine, grounded girl behind all the glitz and glam."
When the allegations resurfaced recently, he said he could no longer remain silent.
“Hindi ko talaga kayang manahimik because I know the grind,” he said.
“I’ve seen your sacrifices. I know the time, the effort, the tears behind every little win,” he added. “You’ve told me about this issue a long time ago, remember?”
Recalling their earlier conversation about the controversy, Chuckie said he told Jillian that “people will always have something to say.”
“But you don’t owe anyone an explanation. Not when your success is built on grit, grace, and God’s timing.”
Chuckie then said that he is proud of Jillian and told her, “You’ve got this.”
“No matter how loud the noise gets, remember your truth,” he said.
“Remember what you’ve built with your own two hands. Remember the heart behind it all.”
Chukie also reiterated his support for the actress, saying, “You’ve always led with love, and that’s what makes you different.”
“So stand tall. Keep being you. Because the woman you are today? She’s someone worth looking up to,” he added.
In Tuesday’s episode of “Fast Talk with Boy Abunda,” Jillian denied having a “benefactor” or being a “sugar baby.”
She also clarified rumors linking her to former Ilocos Sur Governor Chavit Singson, saying she has never met or interacted with him personally.
She is likewise considering taking legal action over the fake news surrounding her.
Jillian has been in the entertainment industry for 15 years. She recently starred in “My Ilonggo Girl” and has an upcoming series, “Never Say Die.”
