Gabbi Garcia reacts to Pirena's death in 'Encantadia Chronicles: Sang'gre'
Many fans are still grieving the death of Glaiza De Castro's character, Pirena, in "Encantadia Chronicles: Sang'gre."
In Aubrey Carampel's report on "24 Oras," Wednesday, Gabbi Garcia, who plays Pirena's sister Alena, said her heart goes out to the Encantadiks.
"I feel for them. But you know, it has to be done for the story to continue and to move on. Marami pang ibang mangyayari," she said.
On the latest episode of the series, Pirena's ivtre (spirit) already headed to Devas (heaven), where she was greeted by her family: her daughter Mira (Kate Valdez), her niece Lira (Mikee Quintos), and her husband, Azulan (Marx Topacio).
However, it seemed that former keeper of the Brilyante ng Apoy still has that fire left in her. Shortly after her arrival, she demanded to see her sister Amihan (Kylie Padilla), intending to discuss something with her.
In the preview for the next episode, it looks like Pirena does not want to simply rest in peace and leave the fight against Mitena to Terra (Bianca Umali), Flamarra (Faith Da Silva), Adamus (Kelvin Miranda), and Deia (Angel Guardian).
"Encantadia Chronicles: Sang'gre" airs weeknights on GMA Prime at 8 p.m. after "24 Oras." You can also watch it on YouTube via the Kapuso Stream. —MGP, GMA Integrated News
