What have Kokoy De Santos, Matt Lozano learned from working with Michael V.?

Kokoy De Santos and Matt Lozano looked back on the lessons they’ve learned from working with Michael V. on “Bubble Gang.”

On Friday’s “Fast Talk with Boy Abunda,” Kokoy revealed to be present is among the most valuable pieces of advice he's received from the Kapuso Comedy Genius.

“No’ng first time sinabi sa amin ‘yun, nakikinig ako kasi nasa-starstruck ako noong sinabi niya ‘yun eh,” Kokoy narrated. That was in 2021 and since then, he continues to apply it to his work and his personal life.

“Kailangan makinig ka palagi. Be attentive. Dapat present ka lang. I mean, 'matic naman 'yun sa set lahat and all. Pero no’ng sinabi ni Kuya Bitoy ‘yun, parang applicable siya sa lahat sa akin lagi eh,” he said.

Meanwhile, Matt shared that working with Bitoy has been a constant learning experience.

“Every eksena with Direk Bitoy lagi akong – ang dami kong natututunan na bago na ‘Ay, hindi ko alam na puwede pala ‘yung ganon.’ Na kapag nag-adlib siya nang gano’n, parang ako, parang go with the flow lang ‘yung nangyayari sa akin. So kailangan mo lang talaga maging bukas para ma-absorb mo,” he said.

“Bubble Gang” is celebrating its 30th anniversary.
