Benjamin Alves expresses support for Ashley Sarmiento, Marco Masa as they join 'PBB'
Benjamin Alves is proud to see his "Akusada" co-stars Ashley Sarmiento and Marco Masa in "Pinoy Big Brother: Celebrity Collab Edition 2.0."
On Instagram, the Kapuso actor shared some snaps of himself with Ashley and Marco along with an appreciation message for the housemates.
"Marco and Ashley were a revelation on set," Ben said. "They came to work humble and ready to learn. They had the lightness and genuine happiness that every filming set needs," he said.
The "Akusada" star then went on to describe AshCo's individual personalities.
"Ashley is the daughter I wish to one day have: a cherubic soul who's smart, independent, and talented - a modern young woman. She's going to grow up to be a skilled singer and songwriter, as she's already acting at a high level," he wrote.
Meanwhile, Marco was described as "a soft-hearted kid who is loving and caring," earning the moniker Wonder Brother.
"His sensitivity to others during a take is raw talent. This dude will be a leading man one day," Ben said.
Together, the two young stars share an undeniable chemistry that, according to the actor, "many love teams hope to emulate."
"You have made me a solid #AshCo fan," he added.
The post concluded with a heartfelt message to PBB viewers, urging them to be kind to the young housemates.
"Remember, they are kids. Each at different stages of their journey. They are just trying to figure things out and learn in front of us. We should be grateful for their courage to do so," Ben wrote.
"Let them grow; and with growth comes shortcomings. Give them the time and space to become better people. I'm rooting for all of them to succeed, especially these two kids of mine," he ended.
Ashley and Marco are among the 20 housemates of "Pinoy Big Brother: Celebrity Collab Edition 2.0."
The reality series, which premiered on October 25, features a group of Gen Z celebrities from Sparkle and Star Magic.
