Samantha Lo and Jannica Rubin are engaged!

The former beauty queen’s longtime partner announced the news through an Instagram Reel. Jannica shared clips of her proposing to Samantha in a bedroom, and the couple flexing their rings.

“Sam, you are the love of my life, and now I finally get to call you my wife,” Jannica said in her caption.

She thanked Samantha for choosing her through every mistake, challenge, and doubt.

“Thank you for growing with me, not just in the easy seasons but in the messy, exhausting, imperfect ones too,” she said. “Your patience hasn’t just held us together—it’s shaped me. Your trust hasn’t just supported me—it’s taught me how to love better, listen better, and show up better.”

Jannica added that throughout their nine-year relationship, “I’ve tested your strength, your heart, and your ability to keep believing in ‘us,’ and yet you’ve never stopped fighting for this love.”

“You chose me even when it wasn’t convenient, even when it wasn’t simple, and that’s something I’ll carry with me for the rest of my life,” Jannica said.

Jannica ended her post with a message for her best friend.

“Here’s to the life we get to build hand in hand. Here’s to the days that will challenge us, the days that will feel effortless, and every ordinary moment in between. Here’s to a lifetime of happiness, to choosing each other over and over again, and to growing old with the person who has always been my best friend, my safe place, and my greatest joy.”

Samantha introduced Jannica as her partner in 2023.

Following this, she advised her followers to “make your move” and shared sweet moments with Jannica online.

In 2024, the couple graduated from university together with Bachelor of Science in Nursing degrees from National University.
