Sexbomb Girls say they were 'kilig,' emotional during concert rehearsals
Sexbomb Girls are all set to give their fans the ultimate nostalgic experience during their reunion concert, but they too are having the best time preparing.
On “Unang Hirit” on Friday, the girls shared that they had all kinds of feels during their rehearsals.
“Nakakakilig eh. Kahit kami ‘pag nag-pa-practice parang, uy, kinikilig ako habang sinasayaw,” Sexbomb Aira Bermudez said.
Jopay Paguia added that they turn emotional when they hear their music.
“Naiiyak kami, promise,” she said.
“Kumbaga parang iba ‘yung pakiramdam. Parang, dati, diba naririnig naman natin sila palagi sa Christmas o kaya sa karaoke. Pero iba ‘yung ito na. Ito ‘yung music, nabuo na namin, tapos sinasayaw na namin. Parang wow, thank You Lord, sobra,” Jopay added.
The Sexbomb reunion show is happening on December 4 at the Smart Araneta Coliseum, followed by a second show on December 9. Rochelle Pangilinan has promised a night of nostalgia.
The group rose to fame through its daily appearances on a noontime TV variety show. Later, the Sexbomb Girls starred in the afternoon soap, "Daisy Siete," and became top recording artists.
They were such a Filipino pop culture phenomenon that long after the members went their separate ways, Sexbomb and their songs are still remembered fondly by fans.
In 2023, six of Sexbomb Girls reunited for a Netflix ad, dancing to their popular hit "Spaghetti Song."
The members also reunite often for parties. —Nika Roque/JCB, GMA Integrated News
