Marco Masa, Krystal Mejes show off acting prowess in 5th weekly task

Marco Masa and Krystal Mejes showcased their child star caliber in the fifth weekly task of “Pinoy Big Brother: Celebrity Collab Edition 2.0.”

For their task titled “PBB Network: Ang Channel ng Totoong Buhay,” the housemates have to make six live shows, which will be aired from Wednesday to Friday.

Each live show will be led by the six nominated housemates: Krystal, Marco, Carmelle Collado, Anton Vinzon, Heath Jornales, and Eliza Borromeo. Anton and Carmelle already completed their live show on Wednesday.

To win the task, the group must garner a combined total of 200,000 views within three days.

The second live show opened on Thursday with a skit titled “Pangarap” led by Krystal. In the skit, she lives with her mom and dad, played by Carmelle and Miguel Vergara, and her siblings, played by Rave Victoria and Heath.

In the skit, Krystal dreams of becoming an actress, having lived a fairly happy life until her parents separate. Growing up in a broken home was difficult, but she continues to fight for her dreams—not only for her family, but for herself as well.

Aside from her acting prowess, the Kapamilya star also showcased her singing talent, performing a few lines of “Kabataang Pinoy” in her raw, a cappella voice.

Meanwhile, Marco’s skit was dedicated to his parents and his Kuya Justin, who has special needs. The young actor calls them the inspiration in his life.

In the skit, Marco portrayed his Kuya Justin, while Clifford took on the role of Marco. Meanwhile, Joaquin Arce and Lella Ford played their parents. The performance depicted Marco’s life with his Kuya Justin and highlighted the struggles faced by people with special needs.

Acting as his elder brother, the Sparkle teen showcased remarkable depth, proving that he is indeed a talented child star.

“Pinoy Big Brother: Celebrity Collab 2.0” airs weeknights at 9:40 PM, Saturdays at 6:15 PM, and Sundays at 10:05 PM on GMA Network.
