PBB Collab 2.0: Marco Masa weeps upon hearing older brother's voice

Marco Masa broke down in tears after hearing a message from his older brother on “Pinoy Big Brother: Celebrity Collab Edition 2.0.”

On Thursday’s episode, Marco received a cassette tape with recorded messages from his family.

The message started with his mother, Sol, who said they miss him.

“Pero kung loloobin ng Diyos na mag-stay ka pa diyan, syempre ikatutuwa pa rin namin,” she said.

“Diba nga ang sabi sa ‘yo ni Daddy, maging housemate ka lang, winner ka na. Bonus nalang kung maging Big Winner ka pa. Enjoy your life, make memories, and have fun.”

Sol also said that they are content with the life they have, and that it is important for Marco to be happy with what he does.

“We love you very much anak and we’re proud of you. Lagi mong tatandaan, whatever happens, you will always be our angel.”

The message then cuts to Marco’s Kuya Justin, who said, “Marco, love!”

The Kapuso actor instantly burst into tears and turned away from the rest of the housemates.

Later in the Confession Room, Marco said there are turning points in the relationship with his brother, who has special needs.

“Nagkaroon po ako ng takot sa tantrums niya kasi hindi ko naman ho naiintindihan nung mga panahon na ‘yon,” he said. “Pero sa tulong ho ng pagpapaliwanag ng mga magulang ko Kuya, ngayon parang isa na talaga siya sa inspirasyon ko.”

Marco added, “Hindi ho man niya nasasabi ‘yung mga gusto niyang sabihin, pero naipaparamdam niya po sa ‘kin na nandiyan pa rin siya.”

Ang Wonder Brother ng Antipolo admitted that he has shortcomings towards his brother, was called “masungit,” and that he was not able to spend time with him.

“Kasi may mga times lang din talaga Kuya na napapagod ako sa work. Napapagod ako, na-bu-burnout ako sa lahat ng nangyayari sa ‘kin Kuya, na parang nagpapatong-patong lahat,” he said.

Marco turned emotional as he recalled being busy and losing time for his brother. “Sana nararamdaman niya ‘yung lahat ng ginagawa ko rin Kuya is para din po sa kanya.”

He added, “Kinakatakutan ko Kuya na sa kabila ng mga ginagawa ko rin para sa kanya, eh lumayo ho ‘yung loob niya sa ‘kin at hindi niya ho maramdaman ‘yung pagmamahal ko sa kanya, Kuya.”

Kuya commended Marco for taking on the responsibility for his brother at a young age.
