'Pinoy Big Brother': Sofia Pablo turns emotional as she remembers promise to Allen Ansay

Sofia Pablo could not help but turn emotional as she remembered the promise she made to Allen Ansay, her onscreen partner and the other half of Team Jolly. 

On Sunday's episode, things came to a head following the confession of fellow housemate Iñigo Jose in “Pinoy Big Brother: Celebrity Collab Edition 2.0." 

Joaquin Arce spoke to Sofia about the story Iñigo shared with them, in which he admitted liking Sofia but stopped because he was turned off by her not being physically active. During Iñigo’s talk with some of the housemates, he had referred to Sofia as "1st princess," a code name he used that caused him to get reprimanded by Kuya.

Following Sofia's conversation with Joaquin, the Kapuso star approached Rave Victoria to express her sentiments over Iñigo’s confession and the use of code names inside the house. 

She then noted that she is involved with Allen, who is outside of the house, and the last thing she wants is to be associated with a fellow housemate and hurt the feelings of Allen, as well as their fans. 

“‘Yung code names kasi is not to hide them from Kuya, but it’s to hide it from the other housemates para hindi lumaki ‘yung problem. But then again, ‘yung side namin ni Joaquin, we just didn’t want it to grow bigger especially if it's me being involved with someone sa labas,” she said. 

“Ayokong mahurt ‘yon. And I don’t want to see our fans na makikita nila na para bang hindi ko iniisip si Allen at ‘yung mga actions niya. So ngayong na-iinvolve ako directly with someone in that way, na-ano talaga ako kasi iyon ‘yung last thing na gusto kong mangyari.”

The Sparkle star also said that she promised Allen that she would not be involved with someone else while inside Bahay ni Kuya.

“Parang mayroon pa nga siyang, 'Maiintindihan ko kapag may nagustuhan ka sa loob ah.' May ganoon siya. Tapos nag-promise ako na hindi talaga. I mean, hindi naman porket andito ako, sabihin nating aabot ako hanggang dulo, ay kakalimutan na kita,” she shared.

Sofia then turned emotional because she could not help but think of what Allen would feel. 

Following her talk with Rave, she then went to the girls’ bedroom and cried because of what Iñigo, whom she considered her friend, had said.

“Si Iñigo po isa po siya sa least na ini-expect ko, Kuya, to talk about me like that since visible naman po na close po kami ni Iñigo. So hindi ko lang po ine-expect na he will talk about me that way, Kuya,” Sofia said. 

She added that she felt disappointed after hearing Iñigo’s words towards her.

“Kasi like, lagi naman po kami 'yung nag-uusap ng mga deep talks, Kuya. About life, about 'PBB.' Lagi po nga niya sinasabi na ang nakausap lang daw niya ng gano'n sa bahay, si Miguel po at saka ako, Kuya. So, nung narinig ko po 'yung galing kay Joaquin na may sinabi nga raw po na gano'n si Iñigo, na-dismaya po ako, Kuya." 

After some time, Sofia approached Iñigo and talked things out, with the Kapamilya actor explaining that he has certain standards for girls. 

In the end, the two reconciled, with Iñigo apologizing to Sofia, to which the latter accepted.
