Bea Borres on 'rejecting' Herlene Budol as baby's ninang: 'It's not that serious and deep'

Bea Borres said on Facebook that “it’s not that serious and deep” when she rejected Herlene Budol as a ninang (godmother) to her soon-to-be-born child.

The conversation happened on Alex Gonzaga’s vlog titled “Puto Bumbong Girls,” where Herlene and Bea appeared as guests. In the episode, Herlene volunteered to be a ninang to Bea’s baby girl and was later rejected.

“I didn’t know naman na magiging issue sa inyo hahah edi kayo mag anak!” Bea said in her post, adding she already had a list of godparents for her baby as early as her first trimester.

“Btw, love ko si ate Herlene ha," she added on Facebook.

Meanwhile, on TikTok, Herlene said she didn’t take it personally when she was rejected as a ninang.

“Okay lang naman kasi ang daming na-hurt para sa’kin kasi nag-volunteer ako bilang ninang, pero ‘di ako kinuha, okay lang ‘yun,” she said.

Bea announced her pregnancy in August. That same month, she shared a sonogram and revealed that she is having a baby girl. According to Bea, she will not be co-parenting with anyone.

The content creator advised fellow single moms to focus on themselves and build their wealth instead. 

Bea is undergoing a high-risk pregnancy and needed to skip her baby shower.
