Marco Masa supports growing connection between Ashley Sarmiento, Rave Victoria

Marco Masa is a supporter of AshRave!

In an interview with GMA News Online, the Sparkle actor said Ashley Sarmiento, his close friend since childhood, already had a crush on Rave Victoria early in their "Pinoy Big Brother: Celebrity Collab Edition 2.0" journey.

"First week pa lang naikuwento na ni Ashley 'yan sa akin, sa 'min nila Princess [Aliyah] kasi kaming tatlo ni Princess 'yun 'yung pinag-uusapan namin," he said.

"I know Rave he's really positive and that's something na alam kong magki-click sila ni Ashley and that something is really genuine between them of course. So I was just there to support them," he added.

Marco said that as Ashley's friend, he wants the best for her.

The two Sparkle teen stars were a love team before entering Bahay ni Kuya. They starred in various projects together, such as "Akusada," "Black Rider," and "Maka."

After Marco got evicted along with Eliza Borromeo, Ashley broke down in tears and said she was at ease inside the house because Marco was there with her.

Asked for his reaction, Marco said he was also grateful for Ashley's presence. The two of them did not get to talk a lot inside the house, but he said they supported each other during tough times.

"Parang kilala na po namin 'yung isa't isa, so it's for us to discover 'yung different personalities naman ng iba. And pumasok naman po kami sa loob ng Bahay ni Kuya para magpakatotoo and 'yung friendship namin talagang friendship and it's genuine," he said.

"During the times na simple conversations hindi kami ganon na nag-uusap kasi alam na po namin eh na kapag nabibigitan kami puwede naming damayan 'yung isa't isa," he added.

Meanwhile, Marco also developed a connection with Eliza while inside the PBB house. He said he wants to protect what they built and spoke up for Eliza amid the comments she has been receiving from fans.
