Kate Valdez goes on solo date; fans shower her with messages of support

Is Kate Valdez in her solo era? 

In the Kapuso actress's latest TikTok video, she shared that she went on a solo date at a café chain and enjoyed a large three-course meal.

Netizens filled the comments section to offer Kate messages of support and encouragement, with the actress liking the said comments. 

“No, I adore this woman. I adore her, and the courage she has. I know this didn’t happen in an instant, for sure nag-su-suffer na din siya for a long period of time until she got to that part na ma-re-realize niyang hindi ganitong pagmamahal deserve niya. And if avoidant ‘yung guy, I know how heart-wrenching and draining it is to be with that kind of person. Salute, Kate. you're a strong woman,” a fan said.

“Fighting Kate Valdez. Time will come to heal your precious heart,” another fan said.

“Idk but I saw it coming. I felt it. I’m sorry, Kate. You’re beautiful inside and out. You’re amazing. Everything’s gonna be better,” a fan said.

Recently, Kate shared cryptic messages about honesty on her Instagram Stories, leading fans to speculate whether she and Fumiya have split. Eagle-eyed netizens also noticed that Kate is no longer following Fumiya on the photo-sharing platform. Moreover, she's taken down their photos together.

The Japanese vlogger, however, remains a follower of Kate.

Kate and Fumiya sparked dating rumors in August 2024 after they spent the actress’ birthday in Hong Kong Disneyland.

Since then, they have traveled together to Japan and Taiwan, and delighted fans on their joint TikTok account Onirigi Lovers. As of writing, the TikTok channel has been deactivated.

In an August 2025 interview on "Fast Talk with Boy Abunda," Kate and Fumiya said they have talked about their future together.
