Did Eugene Domingo dream of making it to Hollywood? Actress answers
With a stellar acting career, did Eugene Domingo ever dream to enter Hollywood?
During her guest appearance in "Fast Talk With Boy Abunda" on Tuesday, the award-winning actress said that it never crossed her mind to have a career outside the Philippines.
"To be honest hindi na kasama sa plano ko, even when I was younger to be in Hollywood or to have a career outside my country. I just really love theatre when I was younger," she said.
In the same interview, Eugene also talked about the possibility of Filipino films to be nominated in the Oscars, saying that it is not impossible.
"And kung tayo makakapasok sa Oscars, hindi imposible. Kailangan lang talaga nating ng pera at suporta ng gobyerno," Eugene said.
Eugene stars in the upcoming Jun Robles Lana film "Sisa."
She recently appeared in the 2025 Metro Manila Film Festival entry "Unmarry." She also starred in "Kontrabida Academy" with Barbie Forteza.
