Jackie Lou Blanco, daughter Rikki Mae Davao to star in upcoming 'Magpakailanman' episode

Jackie Lou Blanco and her daughter, Rikki Mae Davao, are set to star in an upcoming "Magpakailanman" episode.

According to Athena Imperial's report on "24 Oras" Thursday, Rikki Mae will play the role of an overseas Filipino worker, Nolyn, a yaya who works in Singapore who goes viral online.

"Syempre ninenerbyos ako but in terms of preparation may mga similarities din kasi sa pinagdaanan ni Nolyn sa pinagdaanan ko sa personal life ko, like let's say my dad also was sick, and even 'yung pinagdaanan niya as a member of the LGBT community," said the Sparkle star.

It can be remembered that Rikki Mae's dad, the late veteran actor and director, Ricky Davao, passed away in May 2025 at the age of 63 after facing complications from cancer.

Per Imperial's report, Rikki's real-life mom, Jackie Lou, will also play her mom in the episode.

"I think when you know each other already, lalo na kami we're mother and daughter, it also makes scenes more comfortable because it's a safe space also," said Jackie Lou.

This is Rikki Mae's first main role and first appearance in "Magpakailanman," and it couldn't be more meant to be.

She shared that she spoke with the episode director and found out that the same director had directed one of her dad's last "Magpakailanman" episodes.

"And they shot here din, dito rin sa location na 'to.  Nakakatawa 'ung cameramen namin, 'yung isa pangalan Ricky, tapos 'yung isa nickname Davao. Sabi ko, 'ano na? Lord, ikaw ba 'to?" she quipped.

The "Magpakailanman" episode will air on Saturday, February 7, at 8:15 p.m. on GMA Network.

Rikki Mae previously appeared in in a "Pepito Manaloto" tribute episode for her dad. She has also starred in the Kapuso murder-mystery series "Widows' War."
