Tekla says he’s OK with ex-partner Michelle Lhor Bana-ag: ‘Pero hindi kami nagsasama’

Tekla opened up about his past relationship and co-parenting setup with his former live-in partner, Michelle Lhor Bana-ag, assuring that they are OK now.

Tekla appeared on Thursday’s “Fast Talk with Boy Abunda” alongside Boobay, where he was asked about the most painful experience he went through in love.

“Pinakamasakit ‘yung, siyempre alam naman ng tao ‘yon, na parang pinagkalulo ka. Pero naka-move on na ako. Nakaraan na ‘yon. Pero, still, the trauma is here,” the comedian said.

He also addressed his current relationship with Michelle, especially since they have children together.

“Kasi may kids kami eh, so andon pa rin ‘yung ano—pero hindi kami nagsasama. Sumeparate na sila para makapagtrabaho ako nang maayos,” Tekla said. “Yes, we’re OK.”

During the interview, Boobay also shared a piece of advice for Tekla, encouraging him to continue being a present father.

“Ituloy mo lang ‘yan. Kasi nakita ko kung gaano siya kagaling na tatay. As much as possible, every taping namin, kinakausap niya ‘yung anak niya,” Boobay said.

In 2020, Michelle accused Tekla of abuse, which he denied.

Meanwhile, Boobay and Tekla are hosts of “The Boobay and Tekla Show,” and they are set to roll out “TBATS on the Go” on March 1.
