On Monday, the much-awaited family-mystery drama “The Secrets of Hotel 88” finally premiered on GMA Prime, giving TV viewers a first look at the tensions, rivalries, and long-buried truths surrounding the titular hotel.

The pilot episode set the tone for the family-mystery drama, opening with Kiko (Will Ashley) returning to Hotel 88 loaded with so many questions as he reunites with hotel staff members Raphie (Esnyr) and Monnette (Klarisse De Guzman).

The episode also introduces the complicated dynamics among the Fernandez siblings, with Kiko’s half-brothers, Gio (Brent Manalo) and Martin (Ralph De Leon), each living lives far different from his.

Earlier teasers for the show hinted an intense battle for ownership and even a mysterious death tied to the property.

The Fernandez siblings will go head-to-head with the Almazans, composed of Leon (River Joseph), Luna (Mika Salamanca), Jade (Bianca De Vera), and Justin (Josh Ford), as they fight for Hotel 88 ownership.
