Heath Jornales addresses ‘mahiyain’ image after PBB stint: ‘I'm still working on it’

Heath Jornales is embracing a more confident version of himself after “Pinoy Big Brother: Celebrity Collab Edition 2.0.”

In an interview with GMA News Online, the Kapuso Second Big Placer was asked what narrative about him he is ready to correct now that he’s back in the outside world. 

“Na mahiyain ako. Kasi ngayon, I'm still working on it. Pero, yeah. More confident now, at least. Yeah, more confident,” Heath said.

While he acknowledged that shyness is still something he’s improving on, Heath said he has noticed a clear boost in his confidence after the show.

According to Heath, "PBB" sparked noticeable changes not just in his mindset but also in how he presents himself.

“Sa tingin ko, the biggest change was how I look and how I act,” he shared. “Parang I learned so much more stuff in Kuya’s house and I got to implement most of it and a lot of it dito sa outside world. So ‘yun, that's the biggest change I noticed.”

Beyond personal growth, the young Sparkle star also reflected on the overwhelming support he gained from fans during and after his stay inside the house.

“It made me realize how much support they give me. And parang, I really want to take care of that. And I want to have them in my life forever,” he said.

Heath also made it clear that he doesn’t take the newfound popularity lightly.

“I also want to support them po. I want to give back sa kanila dahil sila po ang dahilan kung bakit po ako nandito. So, nagpapasalamat po sa kanila na sobra,” he said.

Throughout the season, viewers followed all the formed groups that braved the weekly challenges and faced the tough tasks inside the house.
