Tuesday Vargas claps back at netizens who shamed her for hosting bingo event

Tuesday Vargas has clapped back at netizens who shamed her for hosting a bingo event.

In a Facebook post, the comedienne shared that 208 people laugh-reacted to her previous post about hosting bingo and included some screenshots of netizens' comments.

She defended the event, saying there were many kind and loyal hotel customers, including moms, who approached her and told her she made them laugh, and in turn, motivated her to keep going.

Tuesday said.

"Ni [hindi] binasa ang back story ko about it, walang interest sa life story mo ke nakaka inspire yan or what. Basta ang goal nila sirain ang buhay mo."

Tuesday also asked her critics why they would feel ashamed of her work.

“Ako nga, may dignidad akong humaharap sa tao dahil ’yang hiya-hiya ay ’di nakakabili ng bigas,” she said.

“So tawagin niyo na ako kung anong gusto niyo. All I know is that I am good at my job and I love what I do, I will forever be grateful for it. You will not succeed in making me feel ashamed of my hustle."

Tuesday likewise noted that she is a mother who is working hard for the people she loves.

Hahaha," she added.

In a previous Facebook post, Tuesday shared that the first-ever hosting job in her career was for bingo, which helped pay for her materials and commute fares back in college.

Never naging LANG ang trabahong ginagawa nang may dignidad,” she added, and told everybody to “respect the hustle.”

Earlier in February, Tuesday had appealed for work via Facebook, calling on industry creatives.

"I am a diligent worker and I'd like to believe that I am a good and versatile artist."

"Please hire me po. Promise pag huhusayan ko po. Salamat po," she said.

In another post on March 2, Tuesday said she does not harbor ill feelings towards netizens calling her "laos," "attitude," and "'di mahusay."

"I asked nicely and with dignity. I was not looking for a handout, but instead an opportunity to use my skills that will produce income," she added.

After appealing for work, Tuesday shared that she has hosted a children’s party and performed on a cruise ship.

Aside from hosting, Tuesday is also a live seller of luxury items like bags. She is likewise a singer of the band, The Bloomfields. She also hosts "The Tuesday Vargas Podcast."
