Barbie Forteza on working with Sharon Cuneta: 'Dreams do come true'
Working with Sharon Cuneta is a dream come true for Barbie Forteza.
On Instagram, the Kapuso Primetime Princess shared a photo of herself with the Megastar during Prime Video's launching event on Tuesday.
Barbie and Sharon are set to star in the Prime Video original series, "Honor Thy Mother" alongside John Estrada and Khalil Ramos.
"She was the reason why I wanted to become an actress. Dreams do come true. Beyond excited to work with you po, Ms. Sharon Cuneta," Barbie wrote, tagging the actress.
A story of family conflict and the complexities of relationships, "Honor Thy Mother" is a collaboration of three media giants, GMA Network, ABS-CBN, and Prime Video.
In 2023, Barbie portrayed Monique in the television remake of "Maging Sino Ka Man," a role originally brought to life by Sharon in the 1991 film.
Barbie most recently starred in the horror movie "P77" which is also available on Prime Video.
