Katrina Halili keeps mum on getting back together with Kris Lawrence

From kilig moments to fun TikToks together—Katrina Halili has this to say about getting back together with her ex-partner, Kris Lawrence.

“Sa balikan po? Wala, secret lang. Secret,” the actress said in Nelson Canlas’ report on “24 Oras" Monday. 

“Wala tayong sasagutin, bawal daw. Bawal daw po sumagot,” she added. 

According to Katrina, what is more important is that Kris has a fuller relationship with their daughter, Katie.

“Happy ako na nakikita ko na nagiging tatay talaga siya, at nararamdaman ko talaga ‘yung pagiging present niya as tatay,” she said.

Meanwhile, Katrina shared that she relates to her character in the upcoming Kapuso series, “Kamao," where she will portray the mother of lead star Anton Vinzon. 

“Binubuhos ko talaga dito ‘yung pagiging nanay ko. As in parang si Anton ay ginawa ko siyang si Katie,” she said. "Maraming makaka-relate kasi marami pong nanay. Kahit hindi ka nanay, basta gagawin mo lahat para sa pamilya mo." 

Katrina and Kris recently traveled to El Nido, Palawan together. Katrina also spent her birthday with Katie, Kris, and Kris' son, Lyric, in January.

In a February vlog, Kris shared he is open to the idea of getting back into a relationship with Katrina if they were both still single in 10 years. 

“It’s too far in the future. Anything’s possible siguro…" Kris had said. "If we’re both single in 10 years, why not?” 

Katrina gave birth to Katie in 2012. Two years later, she and Kris parted ways.

In 2023, Katrina opened up about her co-parenting setup with Kris, saying, "mas OK kami as friends."
