AZ Martinez, Ralph De Leon address growing closeness amid public sightings

AZ Martinez and Ralph De Leon spoke candidly about their increasingly close relationship as fans continue to buzz over their recent public appearances together captured in photos.

At Tuesday’s mid-season media conference for “The Secrets of Hotel 88,” AZ and Ralph were asked how their bond has evolved and how they would describe their relationship now.

“Photos? Anong photos?” Ralph joked, with AZ chiming in, “May photos kayong nakita?”

Despite the playful start, Ralph acknowledged that their connection has naturally deepened over time.

“Kita naman din na we’ve gotten closer na and every day mas nakikilala ko pa siya,” he said. “Ako, enjoy ako having to, you know, get to know her again day by day. Even ‘pag wala kami sa camera, ‘pag wala kami in front of the limelight, it’s just nice to get to know who she really is.”

AZ echoed his sentiments, keeping her response brief but meaningful.

“I agree. Ako, he said it all na, but ‘yung idadagdag ko na I’m happy with whatever’s happening,” she said.

The two have been spotted side by side at major events, including the Miss Universe Philippines 2026 coronation night, where Ralph served as a presenter, and the Bida sa Arena: Ultimate Celebrity Showdown basketball match, where AZ appeared as Team Sparkle’s muse.

AZ and Ralph star together in “The Secrets of Hotel 88” with Brent Manalo, Will Ashley, Mika Salamanca, Dustin Yu, Xyriel Manabat, Kira Balinger, River Joseph, Josh Ford, Bianca De Vera, Klarisse de Guzman, and Esnyr.
