Jillian Ward, Christian Bautista, BGYO's JL Toreliza are judges in 'The Clash Teens' this June

"The Clash Teens" is coming to GMA Network this June, and there will be new faces in the judging panel!

According to Nelson Canlas' report on "24 Oras" Thursday, Jillian Ward and BGYO's JL Toreliza will be joining Christian Bautista in the upcoming "The Clash Teens."

This will be Jillian's first time judging a singing contest.

"Medyo unconventional sa tingin ng ibang mga tao. For me kasi tinitignan ko 'yung mga contestants not just as singers but as storytellers and ako po since I started working very young in the industry, five years old pa lang ako, nagkukuwento na ako sa mga tao through my shows or my performances. 'Yun po ang tinitignan ko sa mga contestants," she shared.

Meanwhile, BGYO's JL was a former contestant on "The Clash."

Now that he will serve as a judge on "The Clash Teens," he admitted that there's a challenge to it because he knows what it's like to be judged.

"Super hirap kasi alam ko 'yung feeling ng mga contestants once na kapag jina-judge sila. So mas nagiging careful ako sa mga sinasabi ko kasi naranasan ko na talaga 'yun so ayokong maka-affect yung mga sinasabi ko na dadalhin nila hanggang sa pag-uwi. Gusto ko may mapupulot pa rin sila sa mga sinasabi ko," said JL.

Christian, for his part, shared his excitement to listen to and work with the younger generation in the upcoming show.

"This is a different kind of 'The Clash' kasi nga 'The Clash Teens' and I’m so excited to really listen and feel the energy of this generation na talagang I wanna know kung ano 'yung dreams nila, kung ano 'yung fears nila, kung ano' yung mga goals nila at gagawin namin 'yung best namin kung paano namin sila matulungan," he said.

In January, it was announced that Kapuso real-life couple Julie Anne San Jose and Rayver Cruz will return as Clash Masters in "The Clash Teens."

The couple previously served as the Clash Masters of "The Clash" 2025 where Jong Madaliday was hailed as the winner. —CDC, GMA News
