Janice Hung signs off as Bathalumang Ether in 'Sang'gre': 'Hanggang sa muli, Encantadia'

Janice Hung paid tribute to her character Bathalumang Ether after an emotional journey in "Encantadia Chronicles: Sang'gre."

On Facebook, Janice reflected on portraying the Snake Goddess villain, who later found redemption in the story.

"From being feared as the Snake Goddess villain to finding redemption in the end, Bathalumang Ether became a character very close to my heart," she wrote.

Janice also said that although Bathalumang Ether's journey this season was short, every moment portraying the character was unforgettable.

"I gave my all to every fight scene, every emotion, and every line because I knew how much this world and these characters meant to so many people," she said.

She also thanked viewers for embracing Bathalumang Ether beyond her role as a villain.

"Your love and support became one of my biggest motivations to work even harder in bringing her character to life," she wrote.

Janice then expressed gratitude for being part of the "Encantadia" family.

"Hopefully, this is not the last time we step into its magic," she said.

"Hanggang sa muli, Encantadia," she added. "Avisala Eshma."

"Encantadia Chronicles: Sang'gre" aired its final episode on May 8. The final episode offered viewers a glimpse into the fate of each character as the story reached its conclusion.

In the finale, Pirena (Glaiza De Castro), alongside her siblings Alena (Gabbi Garcia), Danaya (Sanya Lopez), and Amihan (Kylie Padilla), all became a Bathulaman of their respective gems.
