'Born To Shine' teases BGYO's appearance in series

Is BGYO appearing in the Kapuso series "Born To Shine?"

On X (formerly Twitter), GMA Network's drama arm dropped a 15-second teaser featuring the silhouettes of five boys set to appear in the upcoming series.

The teaser included the words "boys," "guwapo," "young," and "over sa talent," spelling the group's name with the first letters.

"Huy! May paparating ngayong Mayo!" the caption read.

In a separate post, BGYO's official X account reposted the post and wrote an eye emoji in the caption.

Composed of Gelo, Akira, JL, Nate and Mikki, the five-member group made a comeback with their single "Fresh" in February.

In March, they performed at the DUNK Showcase in Japan. They also performed at the Miss Universe Philippines 2026 coronation night in May.

"Born To Shine" stars Zephanie and Michael Sager, among others. It airs on GMA Afternoon Prime at 2:30 p.m. after "It's Showtime."
