Laufey returns to Philippines, tries Filipino delicacies

Laufey is back in the Philippines! Her first order of business? Try Filipino delicacies!

On TikTok, the Icelandic-Chinese singer-songwriter shared a video of herself munching on well-loved Filipino snacks.

“I just got off stage in Manila, and we have some new things here that I haven’t tried before,” she said in the video.

Among the delicacies she tried were lumpia, turon, chocnut, hopia mongo, chicharon, puto, pastillas de leche, ube ensaymada, and lengua de gato.

“I love you guys so much. This has been so much fun. Such a tasty journey. Mahal kita,” Laufey added.

Laufey is in Manila for three sold-out shows at the SM Mall of Asia Arena in Pasay City.

On the second night of her “A Matter of Time” concert on May 28, Laufey performed with BINI.

BINI joined Laufey in performing the jazz-pop singer's hit song, "From the Start."

The singer's concert tour is in support of her newest album, “A Matter of Time.”

She is best known for the songs “Let You Break My Heart Again” and “Valentine.”
