Chanty excited to be working with Anton Vinzon in 'Kamao'

Chanty Videla has nothing but joy for being part of “Kamao.”

According to Nelson Canlas' report on "24 Oras" Tuesday, the Filipina K-pop idol plays Chloe, the love interest of Anton Vinzon’s Makmak, in the sports drama series.

“Well, ‘yung role ko po dito is anak siya ng kalaban ni Anton eh. Pero may konting complications but mabait naman ako dito. Interesting ‘yung character ko, I would say,” Chanty said.

"I'm just really excited to be working with everyone, especially Anton kasi we worked din before sa ‘Maka,’ magkasama na po kami sa ‘Maka’ before. May familiarity naman,” she added.

Meanwhile, in Anton's GMA News interview with Canlas, he had shared that he was surprised Chanty would be his leading lady and found it hard to break the ice with her.

“Very professional po siya pagdating sa set and talagang nandun po ‘yung hunger niya sa pag-aarte,” Anton said.

Per Anton, they have yet to get close.

“I want to get to know her more,” he said, noting that he also wants to invite Chanty to karaoke.

“Very awkward kami sa set. Sabi ko Chanty, K-Pop ‘to, kinakabahan," he added.
