Glaiza De Castro makes theatre debut in stage play 'She's Electric'
Glaiza De Castro has entered her theatre era!
The Kapuso actress made her theatre debut as she starred in the stage play “She’s Electric” by JP Habac.
On social media, Sparkle shared snaps of Glaiza’s debut performance at the Virgin Labfest held at the Cultural Center of the Philippines on Friday.
Prior to the performance, De Castro expressed her excitement about finally fulfilling a longtime dream of performing in theater.
“THIS IS IT! From watching theatre shows to finally acting on stage! Tagal kong inaantay sa bingo card ko ’to,” she wrote on Instagram.
The actress also shared that she immediately fell in love with the script upon reading it and was grateful for the opportunity to work with her castmates.
“Ang saya lang na perfect yung timing ng lahat. First time I read the script kinilig na agad ako kaya super grateful for the chance to work alongside such talented and funny people,” she said, adding that rehearsals were filled with laughter.
Aside from being an actress, Glaiza is also a talented musician often sharing her various acoustic covers on her social media, including renditions of Cup of Joe's "Ikaw Pa Rin Ang Pipiliin Ko," and BINI's "Salamin, Salamin.”
Glaiza most recently starred in “Sang’gre” reprising her role as Pirena.
