Yasmien Kurdi responded with kindness to a netizen who commented that she was flexing about being in law school.
On Facebook, the actress shared a screenshot of a netizen's comment on her TikTok post where she talked about her experience as a first-year law school student, including her favorite and most challenging subjects, as well as the books she had to read.
"Ang hirap maging Law student! First Year ka pa lang! MAKA FLEX! FLEX MO KAPAG BAR REVIEW KANA!” the netizen had commented on TikTok.
Yasmien took the time to respond to the netizen, but with kindness.
“Enjoy mo lang ang course. Life is short,” she replied on TikTok.
“Bahala na kung magba-bar o hindi. Huwag masyadong magpapadala sa pressure ng buhay. It's nice to document everything, para maka-inspire din ng ibang tao. Bawal ang sobrang pressure... baka mabaliw tayo."
Yasmien emphasized that life is short and that it is one of the most important life lessons she learned.
“Enjoy the journey, do your best, and don't forget to live,” she added.
Meanwhile, in her Facebook caption, Yasmien shared that law school is indeed hard, with tiredness and tears as part of the journey.
“Noong una, naisip ko rin kung ise-share ko ba ang law school journey ko o hindi. Pero dahil challenging siya, nakaka-proud isipin na naka-survive ako ng isang taon! Amazing!” Yasmien said.
She also reminded her followers to be happy for their friends if they are successful.
“’Wag kang bitter, dahil iba-iba naman tayo ng timeline at pinagdadaanan sa buhay. Walang karera. Enjoy the process, the self-realizations, the learnings and don’t forget to live!” Yasmien said.
“Bawal stress, baka magkasakit pa tayo. Be proud of yourself and of everything you’re doing. Malayo ang narating mo. Be proud and Smile,” she added.
Yasmien studies law at the Arellano University School of Law, according to her TikTok comment.
She joins the list of showbiz personalities who continue their studies while working in the industry. Yasmien last appeared as a guest star in “Taskforce Firewall.”
Yasmien and Kapuso reporter Nelson Canlas recently collaborated on a children’s book about bullying titled “Si Jose at ang Mahiwagang Taguri," which was launched at the Philippine Book Fair 2026.
