Vanessa Pulgarin says 'it's an honor' to be likened to Max Collins

Miss Grand International All Stars 2026 Vanessa Pulgarin has reacted to netizens comparing her to Max Collins, saying she feels honored by the resemblance.

In an interview with GMA News Online at the launch of Reina Filipinas, the Colombian beauty queen said Gazini Ganados has showed her photos of the Kapuso actress "and we are a little bit similar."

According to Vanessa, their eyes are probably the feature that people notice the most when making the comparison.

“I think we have similar eyes, but I want to know her personally because I just checked Instagram,” she said. “Yeah, we are a little bit similar.”

Vanessa also expressed gratitude to Filipino fans and supporters of Max who have welcomed her warmly.

“Wow. Thank you so much. It's an honor for me to look like her. So, thank you for supporting me. I love you so much. This moment is really for all the people. So thank you so much,” she said.

Max herself previously joined the online fun after netizens pointed out their resemblance.

On Facebook, she playfully reacted to the comparisons, writing, “Salamat sa lahat ng bumati,” along with three laughing emojis.
