Angel Guardian wins Best Actress at 2026 World Class Excellence Japan Awards

Angel Guardian just won the Best Actress award at the 10th World Class Excellence Japan Awards (WCEJA) for her role as Deia in "Encantadia Chronicles: Sang'gre."

On Instagram, the Sparkle star celebrated her win by sharing a photo of herself onstage with her award.

"Got my first-ever Best Actress Award for portraying Deia in Encantadia Chronicles: Sang’gre," she wrote in the caption.

"Nakakataba ng puso na may nakakakita at nakakaappreciate ng talento at pamamaraan mo bilang aktor—nakakaganang mas pagbutihin pa ang bawat trabahong ipinagkakatiwala at bawat proyekto na darating."

Angel also expressed her gratitude to the award-giving body, adding, "Hopefully, this is the first of many."

Several celebrities congratulated Angel in the comments section, including Kokoy De Santos, Iza Calzado, Mikael Daez, and Luis Hontiveros, among others.

'Congratulations, [Angel] You prayed for this and you worked so hard for this!!!! Very proud of you!!!!" commented Iza.

Sparkle GMA Artist Center also celebrated Angel's well-deserved win via a separate Instagram post.

Angel starred in "Encantadia Chronicles: Sang'gre" alongside Bianca Umali, Kelvin Miranda, and Faith Da Silva. The series aired its finale on May 8.

The WCEJA recognizes individuals and organizations from various industries for their achievements that demonstrate excellence, leadership, service, creativity, and meaningful impact. It is now in its 10th edition.
