F4 and Ashin donate P2.5M to GMA Kapuso Foundation's 'Operation Bayanihan'

F4 members Jerry Yan, Vic Chou, and Vanness Wu, along with Mayday’s Ashin, have extended a helping hand to the victims of the recent earthquake in Mindanao, which affected nearly 1.6 million people.

On Facebook, GMA Kapuso Foundation revealed that the Taiwanese icons donated P2.5 million to support its "Operation Bayanihan" initiative.

“This humanitarian contribution is dedicated to supporting relief and rehabilitation efforts for families devastated by the recent magnitude 7.8 earthquake in Mindanao,” GMA Kapuso Foundation wrote.

“This meaningful contribution reflects the group's enduring bond with the Philippines, further strengthening the connection they have built with Filipino fans through the years,” the statement added.

F4 is set to hold a concert at the Philippine Arena on June 27 as part of its “F Forever” tour. However, original member Ken Chu will not be joining the show.

F4 was formed in 2001 following their appearance on the hit series "Meteor Garden" alongside the late actress Barbie Hsu.

The band is best known for the songs "Meteor Rain," "Can't Lose You," and their cover of "Can't Help Falling in Love," among others.
