'Love, Siargao' starring Alden Richards, Nadine Lustre premieres on Viu Philippines

“Love, Siargao” starring Alden Richards and Nadine Lustre is finally here!

The first episode of the collaboration between GMA Network, Viu Philippines, and Viva Communications Inc. premiered on Viu Philippines on Friday.

It opens with Jao (Alden Richards), a city boy traveling to Siargao for the first time in hopes of reconciling with his girlfriend, Allie. While embracing the island life, he meets Kara (Nadine Lustre) after they bump into each other at a beach club.

Kara, a Siargao local, also works at the hotel where Jao is staying and serves as a local tour guide.

Aside from Alden and Nadine, the premiere episode of "Love, Siargao" also features Kyline Alcantara, Kim Ji Soo, and Gab Lagman in supporting roles.

The series delves into the “Siargao Curse” lore, which suggests that visitors to the island either never leave or fall in love.

It follows the story of Jao and Kara, two strangers with opposing principles in life whose paths eventually cross as they navigate the highs and lows of modern romance.
