Barbie Forteza's viral bridal photos revealed to be for upcoming film 'Saving Cherry'

Barbie Forteza recently sent social media into a frenzy after sharing a series of photos of herself dressed in a wedding gown and walking down the aisle.

The bridal-themed images quickly went viral, leaving not only netizens but also several of her fellow celebrities surprised and speculating about the reason behind her unexpected post.

“I’ve waited for this for so long. Nobody can ruin my big day,” she wrote in the caption.

According to Nelson Canlas’ report on “24 Oras” on Friday, the Kapuso star's viral bridal look is for her upcoming film "Saving Cherry.”

Other details about the film have yet to be announced.

Aside from “Saving Cherry,” Barbie will star in the upcoming collab series “Honor Thy Mother” with Sharon Cuneta.

A story of family conflict and the complexities of relationships, "Honor Thy Mother" is a collaboration of three media giants, GMA Network, ABS-CBN, and Prime Video.

It also stars John Estrada, Tonton Gutierrez, RK Bagasting, Mercedes Cabral, Khalil Ramos, and many more.
