Kris Lawrence shares appreciation post for Katrina Halili after she accepted his PMPC Star Award

Kris Lawrence expressed his appreciation for Katrina Halili after the actress accepted his award for him at the PMPC Star Awards for Music 2026.

In a post, Kris thanked Katrina for showing up for him despite the recognition being outside her usual field.

“Thank you, Chiq. Hindi mo award yan at ibang mundo yan, music, pero you still showed up for me," he wrote.

"I will never forget that gesture,” he added.

Katrina accepted the Male R&B Artist of the Year trophy on behalf of Kris during the awards ceremony held on Thursday at Teatrino Promenade in Greenhills.

The actress stepped in after Kris was unable to attend, telling the audience: “Dahil wala po si Kris Lawrence, ako po ang nautusan.”

Katrina and Kris have a daughter together, Katie, born in 2012. Two years later, the couple parted ways.

On Wednesday’s “Fast Talk with Boy Abunda,” it was announced that Kris is courting Katrina again following their renewed connection.
