Andrea Torres says she consults with doctor sister for role in 'Code Grey'

Andrea Torres has been preparing for her role in the upcoming Kapuso medical series "Code Grey" with the help of her sister, Angeli, who is a doctor.

According to Nelson Canlas' report on "Unang Balita" Monday, a medical consultant is also present on set to ensure the cast's lines and actions are accurate.

"Grabe 'yung mga medical terms talaga and dapat syempre accurate so laging merong consultant on set na nag-ch-check ng kilos namin, ng mga linya namin," she said.

Andrea also calls her sister to vet if she has understood certain concepts correctly.

"Yes, tinatanong ko talaga sa kaniya kung tama 'yung pag-pronounce ko, kung tama rin 'yung parang interpretation ko na magiging reaction ng doctor sa ganitong sitwasyon."

Per Andrea, the atmosphere on set is light despite the dramatic situations involved in the series.

"Para kaming barkada on set to the point nilalapitan na talaga kami na 'wag muna kayo magsama-sama kasi kailangan na natin i shoot to.' Every time nag-c-cut kwentuhan agad, lokohan, tawanan," she shared.

"Code Grey" is headlined by Alden Richards.

It stars Christopher De Leon, Kristoffer Martin, Christian Bautista, Jon Lucas, and Faith Da Silva.

Other cast members include Shuvee Etrata, Allen Ansay, Andrea Torres, Romnick Sarmenta, and Joross Gamboa.

Previously, the cast members had an immersion in a real hospital in preparation for their roles in the medical-drama series.
