Jillian Ward goes all out in preparations for upcoming solo concert
Jillian Ward is set to conquer the stage as she prepares for her upcoming solo concert this month.
In Aubrey Carampel’s report in “24 Oras” on Thursday, Jillian shared that she has been hands-on with her production number and even dedicated long hours to rehearsals.
“Yesterday lang po nine hours po akong nag-re-rehearse sa pagkanta, ni-re-review ko po lahat ng songs,” Jillian said.
“Umaabot po ko ng mga four hours sa pag-rehearse sa pagsayaw and after that nag-j-jogging pa po ako para ma-boost ko 'yung stamina ko,” she added.
To keep up with the physical demands of the show, Jillian said she has made fitness a top priority over the past year and a half.
“Sobrang prinioritize ko talaga 'yung fitness ko starting last year. So mga one year and a half na po akong consistent na nag-g-gym, consistent na nag-d-dance classes. As in sobra po akong mag-work out, talagang naging lifestyle ko na po siya,” Jillian said.
Despite her packed schedule, Jillian is also enjoying her role as a panelist on “The Clash Teens.”
“Nakikita ko kung gaano sila ka-talented, gaano sila ka-passionate and I think mag-a-agree rin po 'yung ibang mga judges na sa genaration po ngayon ang pinaka-vinavalue nila is 'yung pagiging storyteller po nila,” she shared.
Jillian will be holding a concert on July 31, 8 p.m., at the New Frontier Theater. The show will be directed by Marvin Caldito.
In March, the Star of the New Gen released her new single, “Pumapag-ibig.”
Jillian most recently starred in “Never Say Die,” where she lent her voice to the original soundtrack of the Kapuso series. —Jade Veronique Yap/CDC, GMA News
