Sofia Pablo confirms Allen Ansay is no longer courting her

Sofia Pablo has confirmed that Allen Ansay is no longer courting her.

In Aubrey Carampel’s report on “24 Oras” on Monday, Sofia said balancing career and love life is difficult.

“Syempre, pareho po kami na bata pa and marami kaming dreams for our family,” the actress said. “Maybe it’s not the right time to continue talaga na pursue namin ‘yung isa’t-isa.”

Sofia also said she is thankful that Allen spoke up about their status. They previously agreed they would not share it since it is personal, but they understand that fans would ask why they are no longer together.

"Initially po kasi ang naisip po namin is hindi na namin nga sasabihin sa public kung ano man 'yung status ng ligawan kasi it's personal naman sa 'min, but we understand the fans, syempre magtataka sila kung bakit hindi na kami nagkakasama."

Sofia also talked about Iñigo Jose, with whom she is being linked.

“Kasi syempre may mga fan gatherings kami and even naman inside the house naging close naman po talaga kami,” Sofia said.

“I don’t think na dapat isipin talaga ng tao na there’s someone involved kung bakit tumigil si Allen,” she added. “Kasi clear po talaga sa ‘min ni Allen na tumigil kami kasi we want to focus on our respective careers.”

Sofia also said she is open to working with Allen again, but that “kailangan din namin to grow outside of our loveteam.”

Allen has always been open about his admiration for Sofia. However, in a TikTok comment last weekend, the actor said he ended his courtship in March, that they are okay, and that no one was left behind.

Allen said their priorities have shifted, especially at work, and they have respect for each other.

In their last “GMA News Interviews” together, Allen talked about their individualities as artists and said he is grateful to have worked with Sofia since his start in showbiz.
