Sanya Lopez on primetime return of 'First Yaya': 'Super happy'
Sanya Lopez can't help but feel happy as "First Yaya" returned to primetime television after five years.
In Nelson Canlas' report in "24 Oras" on Wednesday, the Kapuso star thanked the viewers who supported the series.
"Super happy ako na nagbalik na ang 'First Yaya' tapos ang dami nang nakaabang 'di ba. Maraming maraming salamat po sa patuloy na pagsuporta," she said.
Sanya also looked back on the fondest memories she had with the cast while filming the show.
"Like doing TikToks together, maraming mga food trip, at siyempre 'yung mga bonding namin nung lock-in. Marami kaming ginawa na nabuo 'yung samahan namin 'yung relationship namin," she recalled.
Aside from Sanya, "First Yaya" also stars Gabby Concepcion.
The Kapuso romcom series currently airs on GMA Primetime at 9:35 p.m. and at 11:25 p.m. on GTV.
Directed by LA Madridejos, "First Yaya" follows nanny Melody (Sanya), who develops a relationship with the Philippine President Glenn Acosta (Gabby) as she serves his family.
It premiered on GMA Network in March 2021 and aired its finale in July of the same year. Its sequel, "First Lady," aired the following year. —Jade Veronique Yap/MGP, GMA News
