Jak Roberto expresses full support for sister Sanya Lopez's love life

Jak Roberto is fully supportive of his sister Sanya Lopez's love life.

In Aubrey Carampel's report on "24 Oras" Thursday, the Kapuso actor shared that this is the first time Sanya introduced someone to him.

"First time niyang magpakilala sa akin na parang, 'Kuya, kaibigan ko, ganyan ganyan.' Kaibigan, alam ko na, so sa pagiging kuya, parang as a parent din 'yan e, guide ka lang pagka lumapit sa Iyo," he said.

Sanya had revealed on "Fast Talk with Boy Abunda" in February this year that she is in a relationship.

On "Your Honor" in May, she shared that she and her non-showbiz boyfriend mutually decided to choose to keep their relationship private.

Jak also expressed his pride in Sanya for recently buying a new car as a birthday gift to herself.

"I'm so proud of her, happy birthday to you. Congratulations on your new car and of course pinagp-pray ko 'yung everyday income mo na maging stable pa and maraming marami ka pang blessings na matanggap," he said.

"Parang all this time na wala tayong tinitirahan, wala tayong sariling bahay, ngayon finally parehas tayong nag-improve, na-achieve natin 'yung mga dreams natin," he added.

Meanwhile, Jak is currently enjoying his single life and shared about reconnecting with his Christian faith.

"Mula nung nag-reconnect ulit ako sa Christian may mga fellowship kami nina Paul Salas, mga kaibigan ko. Nakakapagshare kami sa isa't-isa na pare-parehas kaming single, iisa 'yung battle namin sa isa't-isa,m how to deal with it, how to move on with everything," he said.

Jak and Barbie Forteza broke up in January 2025 after seven years together.

He currently stars in "Taskforce Firewall" alongside Kylie Padilla, Miguel Tanfelix, Kyline Alcantara, Buboy Villar, Lexi Gonzales, Cheska Fausto, and more.
