AHOF's JL thanks Sandara Park for introducing him to K-pop

It was a full-circle moment for AHOF's JL when he met Sandara Park!

In a video shared on X (formerly Twitter) by user @halmoniB, JL can be seen thanking the Pambansang Krung-krung, saying she was the reason he discovered K-pop.

"Dahil po sa inyo po, nalaman ko po 'yung K-pop. Salamat po. Thank you so much," JL said as he bowed to Sandara.

Surprised by the gesture, Sandara replied, "Wow, very Korean! Picture tayo."

An excited JL then responded, "Hala, totoo po ba 'yon?"

Sandara shared their photos together on her page, expressing her excitement after meeting her “kababayan.”

"Nice to meet you! I'll always cheer you on~!" she wrote.

Sandara, a member of 2NE1, considers the Philippines her second home. She visited the country last April for a vacation.

In June, she was appointed as a promotional ambassador for South Korea's Overseas Koreans Affairs Office.

She released her solo project "Reprism" that same month.

Meanwhile, AHOF is composed of Filipino JL Gaspar, Korean-Australian Steven Kim, Chinese Zhang Shoaib, South Koreans Park Ju Won, Seo Jeong Woo, Cha Woongki, and Park Han, Taiwanese Chih En, and Japanese Daisuke.

They released their comeback EP "Run to You" this July.

The group is bringing their first-ever tour, "The First Spark," to the Mall of Asia Arena in Pasay City on July 25 and 26.
