Sandara Park named promotional ambassador for Overseas Koreans Affairs Office

Sandara Park has been appointed as a promotional ambassador for South Korea's Overseas Koreans Affairs Office.

On X, the K-pop idol expressed gratitude for the appointment and highlighted its personal significance.

Sandara, who spent much of her early career in the Philippines, said her experience living overseas gave her deeper understanding of the lives of Koreans residing outside their home country.

“Having lived in the Philippines for a long time, I have felt the hearts of overseas Koreans up close, which makes this even more significant to me,” she said. “Going forward, I will diligently fulfill my role as a bridge connecting overseas Koreans and the Republic of Korea.”

In April, Sandara strolled around Metro Manila and vacationed in Lipa, Batangas.

In 2025, Sandara also went to the Philippines and enjoyed the beach in Bohol.
