Dingdong Dantes, Coco Martin meet to discuss project under Aktor PH
Dingdong Dantes and Coco Martin recently met up to discuss a project under the League of Filipino Actors, also known as Aktor PH.
On Instagram, the Kapuso actor and Aktor PH chairman shared photos from his meeting with Coco, including a snap of them shaking hands.
Another photo showed Dingdong and Coco with Marian Rivera and fellow actors Iza Calzado, Ricci Chan, and Joel Saracho.
“Magkaiba man ang programa, iisa lang ang layunin: pagmamahal at pagpapalakas ng ating industriya,” Dingdong said in his caption.
Per Dingdong, Coco will be leading the project under Aktor PH, of which he is also a member.
“Isang magandang Sunday meeting, may kasamang masayang kwentuhan at makabuluhang palitan ng mga ideya, para pag-usapan ang isa na namang proyektong ilulunsad ng AKTOR sa ilalim ng pamumuno ng ating kapwa AKTOR member na si Coco Martin,” Dingdong said, teasing that the project is coming soon.
“Para sa AKTOR. Para sa mga aktor. Para sa industriya. Salamat Coco."
In a separate Instagram post, Coco also shared a photo of himself and Dingdong from their meeting. He thanked the Kapuso actor for his never-ending love and dedication to the entertainment industry, adding that he has huge respect for him.
“Isa kang inspirasyon sa maraming tao dahil sa sipag, at malasakit mo. Hindi lang talento ang ipinapakita mo, kundi tunay na puso para sa industriyang mahal nating lahat,” Coco said.
“Nandito lang ako sa likod mo at buong puso ang suporta ko sa lahat ng iyong ginagawa lalo na para sa Aktor PH,” he added.
In the comments section, Dingdong likewise expressed his gratitude to Coco for his love for the industry and the craft.
“Mapalad tayong lahat na may katulad mong laging nag-iisip ng mga bagong paraan para lalo pang mapatatag ang ating hanay. Bilib ako sa dedikasyon mo,” Dingdong commented.
“Sobrang excited na ako sa programang ilulunsad mo para sa AKTOR. Mabuhay ka, Coco!” he added.
Dingdong currently stars in the GMA Prime series “The Master Cutter,” while Coco stars in “Sigabo” on ABS-CBN.
Aktor PH, or the League of Filipino Actors, is a group dedicated to protecting actors in the Philippines and bring about progress and positive change in the industry. It provides a supportive community to industry workers and conduct training programs and mentorship.
In a previous interview on “24 Oras,” Dingdong shared that the group has spent the past six years championing initiatives to protect actors' rights, their physical and mental well-being, and safety in workspaces.
